Famous Hollywood actress Drew Barrymore is planning to make TV series of her super hit movie
“Charlie’s Angels” to recreate the magic of action packed drama on small screen.

According to the celebrity news, ‘The Wedding Singer’ star Barrymore has produced and starred in two film adaptations of the 1970s show and now she’s breathing new life into the franchise, which launched Farrah Fawcett’s career, by reviving it on TV.

Barrymore is currently searching for a new trio of stunning beauties for the role of crime fighters. She has insisted that they must be “incredibly capable, but not take themselves too seriously. That’s a tough combination to find”.

Director McG, who directed Barrymore in her movie Charlie’s Angels, will serve as consultant on the project and is aiming to diversify the team of secret agents.

Director McG told reporters, “This is a more progressive, 2010 take on the idea. We want to be even more progressive in terms of racial background.”

McG has already named his dream Angel as Rihanna.
