King Khan of Bollywood SRK is known to have a generous heart when it comes to his close friends. The Khan with a mighty heart recently gifted close buddy Farah Khan Apple’s iPhone.A source reveals, “Last month, Farah Khan was choreographing a song picturised on Shah Rukh and Deepika Padukone at Filmistan Studios for his home production. SRK and Farah being big techno game freaks became obsessed with the latest iPhone game Lexitron (a word forming game) which cinematographer V Manikandan had on his iPhone. The actor and the director played the game on Manikandan’s phone till the battery died. The next day, Farah was pleasantly surprised when Shah Rukh gifted not just her but also her assistant Feroze the latest iPhones. Farah uses the iPhone for playing games and taking videos and pictures of her triplets — Anya, Diva and Czar. She has been showing the pictures and videos to everyone on the sets on Billoo Barber.”When Farah was asked about SRK’s gesture she said, ”What’s the big deal in such gifts? These things happen between friends all the time.”Yeah well said Farah, specially if you happen to be SRK and Sallu’s friend.

The actress just finished a ten day work shop with her idol Naseeruddin Shah who also stars in the film along with Bollywood Actor Arshad Warsi.
A source close to the actress revealed, "The character that Vidya Balan is playing in Ishqiya is a very complex character which is very difficult to enact.
Vidya thought that the way to emote the character on screen was best learnt from Naseeruddin Shah because the veteran actor was a master at it. She was ecstatic to be discussing cinema with the master himself.
Even though one hears they ended up discussing the film and cinema at length instead of doing a serious workshop, Vidya Balan still treasures the experience and seem to be interested working with Naseer in the film. "
Vidya also learnt to speak the UP dialect during those ten days. Vidya Balan was just not familiar with UP kind of Hindi. She mastered it by getting a teacher to teach her the exact dialect.

Denying rumours that she forced Madhur Bhandarkar to change the climax in Fashion, Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, who has been shooting nights for the movie, says her character getting pregnant was not a part of the script.
Priyanka told IANS: "That was never a part of the script. The ending was decided at the scripting stage. The girl was never meant to get pregnant.
"Why would I shy away from doing something unconventional? I started with Aitraaz, which was as unconventional as they come. I'm so amused by all the speculation about Fashion. It just shows how much interest the film is generating. In spite of the constant attention, we've shot a majority of the film. We're all working really hard on it."
"I don't know where these stories come from. Apparently, I asked Madhur to change the climax of the plot so that my character doesn't get pregnant. Now where did that come from? Madhur is a very competent director. Do you think he'd allow any actor to tamper with the script?
"Yes, the two of us sat down on the script and threshed it out over six-seven months. Once that was done, we went by the script completely. I'd be the last person to ask for changes once I begin shooting."
As for the film being inspired by the lives of real-life ramp-walkers, Priyanka clears the air.
"The film is a work of fiction. It's not meant to be the true story about the modelling world. Basically, it's the story of this one girl's biographical journey, just like Tabu in Madhur's Chandni Bar or Bipasha in Corporate.
"The fashion world is my character's backdrop. My character could very well have been a part of any other profession."
Priyanka, who will be seen in Drona and Love Story 2050, admits that she has never been more nervous about any of her films.
"It's a very nerve-wracking character and I hope I'm able to live up to people's expectations."
Priyanka has to cram in as much of the shooting as possible for Fashion before she rushes off in March to Miami for Karan Johar's Dostana directed by Tarun Mansukhani.
"That would be a welcome sunny seaside change after shooting the intense scenes indoors on a set for Fashion. It's a young peppy frothy film. Totally different from Fashion."

Kareena Kapoor has proved her love for beau Saif Ali Khan when she kept fast for him on Karva Chauth. After completing a hectic shooting schedule she flew to Delhi to meet Saif who was shooting with Imtiaz Ali for his upcoming home production. Dr. Surekha Verma, a resident of Kanjurmarg, was taken by surprise when she started receiving lots of calls asking for Aamir Khan. However, she got irritated when calls kept coming and finally forced her to witch off her mobile. Later she realised that her number was written on Aamir's biceps.
It is said that one of the assistant directors of Ghajini wrote a random number on Aamir's body as temporary tattoo and it happened to be the number of the lady.Aamir said that he understood the problem the lady might have gone through, as he received over 900 SMSes regarding his Ghajini look. He added that he regretted the inconvenience caused to the lady.

Bollywood Gossip : Director Rohit Shetty waits with bated breath for the response to GOLMAAL RETURNS. "It's bigger, it's better, it's much more entertaining than GOLMAAL," he says of his new film.
Not many are aware, the sequel to GOLMAAL happened by chance. "I was working on an altogether different story; it was meant to take off from where the first part ended. But I realized that it was getting boring. I wasn't enjoying writing it. Around that time Yunus Sajawal bounced off an entirely new story of four guys and four girls. When I read the script, I realized that it could easily pass off as the sequel to GOLMAAL. And when I narrated the plotline to Rajbhai Mehta [of Ashtavinayak] and also Ajay [Devgan], they jumped at it. That gave me the impetus to go ahead with the sequel," Rohit recalls.
Rohit is confident that he'll continue with the GOLMAAL series. But before making the next instalment of this laughathon, Rohit is working on an altogether different project -- this time with Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi. "I haven't signed either Baba [Sanju] or Arshad. Nor have I made them listen to the script. It was a casual conversation with Sanju and the next thing you know, the media has already made the announcement. There's nothing official about this project yet," he clarifies.

Keeping the tradition of showcasing the rushes of their forthcoming film with the new release, Yash Raj has decided to screen the trailer of much-awaited Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi on October 24 along with Roadside Romeo, releasing on the same day.
Francina Pereira from Yash Raj Films confirms the news saying, "Yes, It's true. The promos of Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi will be shown in all cinemas on October 24."
Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is written and directed by Aditya Chopra. The film sees Shah Rukh Khan and newcomer Anushka Sharma in the lead.
While the industrywallahs are hoping for the inflated star prices bubble to burst, news has come in that Akshay Kumar has charged a whopping Rs 9 crore for his Percept Pictures' upcoming animation flick Jumbo.
He will be lending his voice for the main lead character of the film, that of an elephant and shall also be a part of two promotional video songs. But now since when was Akshay famous for his voice that it can be called as his selling point?
Earlier, last year, Akshay had reportedly signed a Venus film for Rs 27 crore.
Industry sources claim, "Akshay had taken this entire amount during the signing itself. That time, there was also a deal formed between him and Venus according which, Akshay would enjoy 51 per cent share of the profits whereas Venus' share would be 49 per cent. Plus apart from that, if the film's profits cross the Rs 25 crore mark then whatever earned above this mark would go into Akshay's pockets! Venus won't have any share into that. Now if you thought that was the end of it...well, there is more! Generally a producer remains in charge of his film's negative but in this project, the negatives shall be in the name of Akshay! So in short Akki will enjoy all the benefits of being a producer without investing a single penny!"
While this Venus film is yet to begin shooting, it is learnt that Akki has also set out a condition nowadays to only sign those projects which involve him as a co-producer!

After the debacle of the futuristic mega-spectacle Love Story 2050, Harry Baweja has resurfaced to make a comedy with son Harman called James & Bond, but it may not be that easy to get the title so closely linked to the '007' franchise.
"Yes, dad and I are doing a comedy together. But we may not call it James & Bond at all. Actually, some sections of the media found out that we had registered that title James & Bond. A lot of media stories about big banners launching films that you see come out from title registration only," Harman said.
James & Bond may not go down well with the celluloid fans of Ian Fleming. There are strong copyright-protection acts protecting all globally acknowledged brand names in the entertainment business.
We just registered the title. Doesn't mean we're making a film of that title. It was just a thought. A section of the media even made up the script for us and which parts of the world we'd shoot it in. It's ridiculous," he added.
David Dhawan, similarly, wanted to title his sequel to Partner as Tom & Jerry. He quickly changed his mind when not-so-discreet inquiries about the title were made from sources in the US.
Harman says he wasn't hiding after the debacle of Love Story 2050."Far from it. I've just been working day and night," said the actor who is busy shooting Anees Bazmi's It's My Life. "In the last five weeks I've visited five different places. I've been to Sri Lanka, Jaipur, South Africa, Delhi and Bangalore. Now I leave to shoot in Greece."
The newcomer has such a choc-a-bloc schedule that he doesn't have time for anything else."I've no time to socialise or to make my presence felt in the so-called right places. Finally, it's not your networking but your work that decides your career. It's very important for my next two films to work. My next two films It's My Life and Victory have turned out well. Anyone who has seen these films has only good things to say about these films."
Harman starts shooting for Ashutosh Gowariker's What's Your Raashee with girlfriend Priyanka Chopra in November.
Stories about a split with Priyanka amuse Harman."What can I say? I never said we were a couple before. So why should I react when people are splitting us."
But friends swear Harman and Priyanka are very much together. "In fact, both of them are so busy and yet they try to meet up at least once every day," a mutual friend said.
About Love Story 2050 Harman said, "It worked for me. Finally, whether the film works or not is proved by the work you get. I'm happy with the work I'm doing. I signed Ashutosh sir's and Sanjay sir's (Leela Bhansali) films after Love Story 2050. And I'm on the verge of signing another film. I'm very cautious about what I'm doing.
